On April 26, Vancouver joins the Global Book Crawl. What better occasion than Canada’s Independent Bookstore Day?
Organized by the local collective Romancing the Data, this one-day crawl invites book lovers to celebrate the city’s indie bookstores as spaces of discovery, community, and cultural resistance.

What to expect
A leisurely group walk through some of Vancouver’s most beloved bookstores, lasting a little over four hours.
You can join them at 1:00 pm at Cross & Crows Books, and from there, let books and conversations guide the way.
This isn’t just about shopping, it’s about sharing stories, finding unexpected treasures, and showing love for local booksellers.
